To join The Skills Bank which comprises the resource pool of employable youth under the SRN, graduates must have undertaken the Stellar Graduate Professional Programme conducted by the SRN in association with the Ghana Institute of Consulting.
The Ghana Institute of Consulting provides specialist professional services training to practicing consultants from countries all over the world. In assisting it to achieve the not-for-profit ideals of the SRN, the Ghana Institute of Consulting has collaborated with the SRN to develop the unique Stellar Graduate Professional Programme which is modeled on its flagship Professional Consultancy Skills program, and to run it at a subsidized cost to the SRN.
After paying the heavily-subsidized course fee, Graduates of Polytechnics and Universities are registered to attend a 1-month’s course comprising 12 training modules at the Ghana Institute of Consulting. Training sessions for the Stellar Graduate Professional Programme are flexibly scheduled to run during weekday mornings or afternoons.
A team of practicing professionals provides top-notch instruction in professional practice areas that are modeled on the work of a world-class consultant. Training includes instruction on: organizational and business functioning concepts; strategies applied in corporate situations arising; cross-functional and cross-organizational thinking paradigms; methods for achieving value differentiation between options; self-design of methodologies for assessing, analyzing and addressing business questions; methods for identifying, obtaining and applying right-fit data and information; and the skills of operating within competitive team-sets.
At the end of the one month’s training, students must take an examination to qualify for the Stellar Graduate Crtificate which entitles a graduate student to be admitted into The Skills Bank.
